"I was with this office for a year and a half and had three policies with them. When I first reached out, they told me they couldn’t insure me due to my driving record, but then called me back, and said they reviewed everything, and decided they could work with me. I appreciated that and trusted their decision. Fast forward a year and a half later, I got a call out of nowhere saying they would no longer insure me. Their underwriting team, after all that time suddenly had an issue with the same record they initially accepted. And this came after a year and a half of feeling secure with them. It wasn’t just disappointing, it hurt. I felt completely in the dark. The rep who called just kept repeating, “It’s out of my hands,” offering no real answers or accountability. I was left scrambling to find something I could afford after already taking a financial hit. It felt like they picked up the pieces of a tough situation, put it all back together and then broke it again. I honestly wish they had just left me alone in the beginning instead of giving me false hope and then pulling the rug out from under me. It shouldn’t take a team of “professionals” a year and a half to decide whether they can work with someone especially when they had all the information from the beginning. I trusted them and built my life around that trust, and they took it away without warning. That kind of instability, when you’re already dealing with enough, is more than just bad service it’s a real emotional blow. What I went through wasn’t fair, and I hope others don’t have to experience the same."
